On Wednesday 16 April 2007 the Cricket Wellington Awards Evening was held in the Norwood Room, RA Vance Stand, Allied Prime Basin Reserve.
Premier Men – Eastern Suburbs
Awarded to the most outstanding male cricketer under 23
Winner: Josh Brodie - Eastern Suburbs Premier Team
Awarded to the person taking most wickets in The Dominion Post Premier grade
Winner: Roger Fouhy – Eastern Suburbs with 58 wickets
at an average of 14.02 runs per wicket. He bowled 226 overs with 30 maidens, took two six wicket bags
and had two ten wicket match hauls and had best figures of 7-27.
Awarded to the person who scored the highest score in The Dominion Post Premier grade
Winner: Phil Parker – Eastern Suburbs with 155 runs
v Petone-Riverside in a one-day game fixture. He scored 546 runs at an average of 27.30.
Awarded for the best performance in Wellington Cricket
Winner: Roger Fouhy – Eastern Suburbs.
In the premier three-day final, Fouhy took 6-52
in North City's first innings. Coming in at No. 11 he scored 25 and was associated with Lance Dry in a 10th
wicket stand of 85 which enabled Easts to get a first innings lead of 204. He then took 5-98 in the second
innings to ensure Easts won their seventh successive Pearce Cup.
